The Health & Safety Induction will take place this evening Tuesday the 2nd of October at 6.00 pm in the College lecture theatre. Participation will review emergency and contacts, basic procedures, fire alarm and building evacuation. Attendance is compulsory for all Volta freshers.

Sir Richard Peto, the 2016/17 Volta Lecturer, discussed on 25th May 2017 how the world can and should halve premature death.

Mario Capecchi, 2007 Nobel Laureate for Physiology or Medicine, delivered the 2016/17 M Fraccaro Lecture on 6 April 2017.
RESEARCH ASSESSMENT
A major seminar series on Research Assessment in France, Germany, the UK and Italy took place in College from November 2016 to February 2017.

An early drawing of the battery by its discoverer, the scientist at the University of Pavia after whom the College is named.
NORTH WING
The new North Wing, completed in 2013, houses the 78 graduate members of College as well as 5 short term visitors.
