Sir Richard Peto, the 2016/17 Volta Lecturer, discussed on 25th May 2017 how the world can and should halve premature death.

Mario Capecchi, 2007 Nobel Laureate for Physiology or Medicine, delivered the 2016/17 M Fraccaro Lecture on 6 April 2017.

RESEARCH ASSESSMENT

A major seminar series on Research Assessment in France, Germany, the UK and Italy took place in College from November 2016 to February 2017.

NORTH WING

The new North Wing, completed in 2013, houses the 78 graduate members of College as well as 5 short term visitors.

The Future of Higher Education

The second seminar of the College Series on Access to Education will take place on Thursday the 13th of April 2023 at 6.00 pm and will be given by Giorgio Marinoni, from the International Association of Universites. The seminar entitled Global Challenges and Directions in Higher Education will review recent trends in Higher Education worldwide and will offer a critical assessment of the challenges and directions that lie ahead in both developed and developing countries.
