Corrado Regalbuto is a medical student at Collegio Volta and a rower of world renown. Corrado won 6 Italian championships between 2004 and 2012, the medal' gold in the World Cup in 2011 (coxed eight) and the medal 'silver at the World Championships University in 2012 (coxless four). On Wednesday the 9th of October 2013, with the help of photographs and movies, Corrado will illustrate to College members how rowing developed, its strong links with University culture and, above all, his life as a student and a rowing athlete of world status. The poster of Corrado Regalbuto's Evening at Volta is available for download. Corrado will endeavour to encourage rowing among the members of Collegio Volta through the newly established Volta Rowing Club.

Sir Roger Penrose, Nobel Laureate in Physics (2020), delivered the 2020/21 A Volta lecture online on 20 January 2022 on 'From Black-Hole Singularities to Cosmic Cosmology'.

Sir Richard Peto, the 2016/17 Volta Lecturer, discussed on 25th May 2017 how the world can and should halve premature death.

Mario Capecchi, 2007 Nobel Laureate for Physiology or Medicine, delivered the 2016/17 M Fraccaro Lecture on 6 April 2017.

NORTH WING
The new North Wing, completed in 2013, houses the 78 graduate members of College as well as 5 short term visitors.
